Mineral:Fluorite with minor Calcite
Locality:Blackdene Mine, Ireshopeburn, Weardale, County Durham, England
Description:Lustrous transparent purple cubic fluorite crystal with disc-shaped transparent colorless calcite crystals to 1 mm on the bottom. The fluorite crystal has whitish cloudy inclusions in areas, and fluoresce bright violet under LW-SW UV illumination. Originally acquired in August 1995 from J. Tovey
