Locality:Garnet Ledge, east shore of Stikine River Delta, 11 km north of Wrangell, Alaska
Description:Lustrous wine-red almandine garnet crystal with no attached matrix. The almandine crystal is dodecahedral form with trapezohedral edge faces. This classic locality is reported to be exhausted and no recent production of garnets. Collected ca. 1985
