Locality:Missouri River gravel bar, Lewis and Clark County, Montana
Description:Two specimens of yellow sapphire, the gem variety of the mineral species corundum. One is an 6x6 mm uncut rough gem-grade yellow sapphire and the other is a 5 mm pear-shaped faceted sapphire gemstone. Ex. May Hansen ca. 1970
