Locality:Jegdalek, Sorobi District, Kabul Province, Afghanistan
Description:Lustrous translucent ruby crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral species corundum, on marble. The ruby crystal is pseudo-octahedral form and show crystallization lines on most faces. The ruby crystal fluoresces bright red under LW UV.
