Locality:Bessemer Claim, near the north summit of Green Mountain, 8.6 km ENE of North Bend, King County, Washington
Description:Classic elongated quartz and hematite pseudomorphs after prismatic epidote crystals to 85 mm. From bottom you can see hollow interior of quartz crystals mixed with brown hematite. This is the largest pseudomorph I have had from this unique occurrence. Originally acquired ca. 1984; ex. Charles M. Noll collection #CN874; ex. Marquette University
