Description: | Lustrous translucent dark-blue boleite crystals to 8 mm on matrix surrounded by grainy green paratacamite. The boleite crystals are cubic form, with {111} octahedral corner faces. The paratacamite occurred as loose grains that cemented to the matrix. These specimens are now recognized as fakes: the boleite crystals and surrounding paratacamite were glued onto matrix |
