Locality:Morenci Mine, Clifton District, Greenlee County, Arizona
Description:Lustrous translucent blue azurite crystals in a cavity lined with pale-blue gibbsite-chrysocolla. The azurite crystals have strong blue color due to the thin azurite skin altering to fibrous green malachite on the interior (visible in surface fractures). Ex. C. Carter Rich (1935-2018); ex.
