Description: | Lustrous translucent colorless calcite crystals with iridescent yellow coating caused by alteration of pyrite (no longer present). The calcite crystals are scalenohedral form with surfaces composed of many smaller parallel crystal faces. Collected 22 October 1995 during the FOMS field trip |
