| Description: | Uncommonly transparent colorless datolite crystals lining one face of gray-brown basalt. The datolite crystals exhibit double refraction (similar to calcite) and the transparency of these crystals makes the phenomenon easily visible under magnification. Collected 16 April 1994. |
