Locality:	Soda Lake, Carrizo Plain, San Luis Obispo County, California
Description:	Lustrous translucent white-colorless cubic halite crystals on an earlier generation of smaller halite crystals. This halite specimen is not from the common Searles Lake deposit, but from the little-collected Soda Dry Lake locality. Originally acquired from Al Rose (Fallbrook, Ca.) in August 1998. The halite fluoresces under LW and SW ultraviolet illumination.
