Locality:Lime Crest Quarry (Limecrest), Sussex Mills, 4.5 km northwest of Sparta, Sussex County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous translucent gray-black hornblende crystals with no matrix. The hornblende crystals were identified by streak, hardness, specific gravity, however John Cianciulli identified similar as pargasite. Collected 16 October 1994 during the FOMS field trip
