Locality: | Millington Quarry, Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey |
Description: | Lustrous transparent selenite crystals, the colorless transparent variety of the mineral gypsum, with remnants of matrix on the edge where they were attached. Selenite is uncommon at Millington because it is the first mineral to dissolve. Collected on 15 May 1994. |
