Mineral:Calcite on Prehnite with pseudomorphic cavities after Calcite
Locality:Millington Quarry, Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous transparent colorless rhombic calcite crystals to 11 mm on translucent green prehnite in rounded formations to 6 mm diameter with thin pseudomorphic cavities after bladed calcite crystals. Prehnite crystallized over calcite that later dissolved. Collected 26 July 1997.
