Locality:Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
Description:Lustrous transparent gray hemimorphite crystals on brown limonite gossan. Some areas of the hemimorphite crystals are coated with microscopic colorless crystals of an unidentified mineral, possibly a second generation of hemimorphite crystals. Collected ca. 1985. Originally acquired at the bankruptcy auction of Astro Gallery of Gems
