Mineral:Fluorapatite in Quartz with Hematite
Locality:Cerro de Mercado, Durango, Mexico
Description:Lustrous transparent yellow apatite crystals to 11 mm with transparent colorless quartz crystals to 1 mm on brown metallic hematite. The apatite formed first, then was conglomerated with the hematite and quartz which is why some crystals are incomplete. Collected ca. 1985
