Mineral:Datolite, Calcite, Pyrite with pseudomorphs after Anhydrite
Locality:Millington Quarry, Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous translucent pale-green datolite crystals to 6 mm with small translucent brown calcite crystals and scattered yellow-metallic pyrite microcrystals. Note the rectangular pseudomorphic mold after anhydrite on the end of the specimen. Collected in May 1995. This quarry is now closed and reclaimed.
