Locality:Lime Crest Quarry (Limecrest), Sussex Mills, 4.5 km northwest of Sparta, Sussex County, New Jersey
Description:Crystallized mass of translucent purple fluorite in contrasting translucent white marble (calcite) from the famous one-time-find of Mississippi Valley-Type mineralization encountered in 1992-3. Collected 16 May 1993 during the FOMS field trip
