Locality:Fairfax Quarry, 6.4 km west of Centreville, Fairfax County, Virginia
Description:Cluster 30 mm across of lustrous translucent colorless tabular apophyllite crystals to 15 mm on translucent green prehnite that is coated with many smaller lustrous transparent colorless rectangular apophyllite crystals to 4.5 mm. Collected in 1967 by John Medici (1938-2022, author of Minerals of the Fairfax Quarry, Centreville, Virginia in Min. Rec. v.3#4
