Description: | Lustrous transparent light-purple amethyst quartz crystals to 50 mm overgrown in parallel orientation on a doubly-terminated 85 mm milky quartz crystal. The amethyst crystals have white subsurface inclusions, probably microscopic albite. Collected in 1969 by Cliff Trebilcock |
