Description: | Lustrous translucent-to-transparent golden-yellow-brown calcite crystals in hemispherical aggregates to 15 mm diameter. The calcite fluoresces white under longwave and shortwave ultraviolet illumination and phosphoresces when extinguished. Ex. Robert Scott (Ypsilanti, Michigan) collection #267; originally acquired from Jim Minette (1936-2002) in July 1974 |
