Description: | Translucent purplish sapphire crystal, the gem variety of the mineral corundum, with no matrix attached. The sapphire crystal is tapered hexagonal form, with striated prism faces, and has natural terminations at both ends. The sapphire crystals fluoresce red under LW UV illumination. Weight: 2.3 grams |
