Description:Lustrous pink-red transparent ruby crystal, the red gem variety of the mineral species corundum, with no matrix. The ruby crystal is complex form with parallel crystal faces, naturally rounded edges, and vivid color. Originally acquired ca. 1990; Weight: 0.4 grams. Fluoresces red under LW-UV illumination
