Description:Irregularly shaped fragment of gemmy heliodor, the yellow gem variety of the mineral species beryl. The heliodor is about half gem-grade and might produce clean gemstones up to 12 mm if faceted. Fluoresces slightly under LW-SW ultraviolet illumination. Weight: 21.0 grams (105 carats)
