Description: | Lustrous doubly-terminated translucent pinkish-purple sapphire, the gem variety of corundum, with minor remnants of matrix embedded in crevices. The sapphire crystal has triangular basal pinacoid terminations with secondary corner faces. Fluoresces red under LW UV illumination. Weight: 4.4 grams |
