Description: | Lustrous transparent purple scapolite crystal with striated prism faces and angled shallow pyramidal termination. These specimens are commonly labeled simply as scapolite (group name), and are either the species marialite (Na-rich) or meionite (Ca-rich). fluoresces red under SW UV and yellow under LW UV illumination. Weight: 1.2 grams |
