Mineral:Corundum var. Ruby
Locality:Mozambique
Description:Lustrous translucent vivid-pink ruby crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral corundum, with remnants of white matrix in crevices. The ruby crystal is doubly terminated hexagonal form with secondary corner faces on one termination. Fluoresces red under LW UV illumination. Weight: 4.1 grams
