Locality:Luc Yen, Yenbai Province, Vietnam
Description:Lustrous translucent deep-pink ruby crystal, the red gem variety of the mineral corundum, in contrasting white marble. The ruby crystal is tapered flattened hexagonal form with flat basal pinacoid termination. Fluoresces red under SW-LW UV illumination. Weight: 1.6 grams
