Mineral:Corundum var. Ruby in marble
Locality:Jegdalek, Sarobi, Afghanistan
Description:Two lustrous translucent pink ruby crystals, the pink gem variety of corundum, in marble with phlogopite. The ruby crystals are equant pseudo-octahedral form with secondary edge faces. Fluoresces red under LW UV illumination.
