Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Classic formation of translucent colorless scalenohedral calcite crystals to 6 mm with overgrowth of lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 9 mm with red hematite microcrystals on alternating termination faces caused by piezoelectric charges. Collected in 1980s to 1990s by Prof. Martin Becker
