Mineral:Pectolite over Prehnite and Quartz pseudomorphic molds after Anhydrite
Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Large specimen of radiating fibrous white pectolite crystals in aggregates to 14 mm diameter, with one area exhibiting pink color on the terminations, over translucent green prehnite crystals to 2 mm and a flat quartz pseudomorphic mold after anhydrite. Collected in 1980s to 1990s by Prof. Martin Becker
