Mineral:Prehnite pseudomorphs after Anhydrite with Babingtonite, Actinolite and Laumontite
Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Well formed translucent green pseudomorphs after bladed anhydrite crystals to 32 mm with scattered white laumontite crystals to 3 mm and small bladed green-black babingtonite crystals to 1 mm with alteration to fibrous greenish actinolite microcrystals. Collected in 1980s to 1990s by Prof. Martin Becker
