Mineral:Prehnite pseudomorphs after Anhydrite with Chamosite and Laumontite
Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Well formed translucent green pseudomorphs after bladed anhydrite crystals to 28 mm with scattered white laumontite crystals to 3 mm and small green-black chamosite microcrystals. The molds after anhydrite are visible on the underside. Collected in 1980s to 1990s by Prof. Martin Becker
