Locality:Millington Quarry, Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Rare 12 mm(!) sphalerite crystal on lustrous transparent green prehnite crystals to 2 mm in fan-shaped aggregates with a colorless 14 mm calcite crystal. The sphalerite crystal appears black, but exhibits dark yellow transparency when side-illuminated. Collected in 1990s by Prof. Martin Becker, author of Recent Mineral Finds at the Millington Quarry in Rocks and Minerals v.73 #5
