Description: | Double-sided specimen of lustrous transparent colorless scalenohedral calcite crystals to 18 mm on fine-grained white datolite that has a pseudomorphic impression on the rear where it grew against a 50 mm bladed anhydrite crystal that later dissolved. Collected in 1990s by Prof. Martin Becker, author of Recent Mineral Finds at the Millington Quarry in Rocks and Minerals v.73 #5 |
