Description: | Cluster of interconnected lustrous translucent vivid-blue azurite crystals to 20 mm that are partially replaced by fibrous green malachite. The azurite crystallized first then altered on the interior to malachite, leaving only a 0.5 mm skin of azurite. Ex. Miller #M2399; collected in 2012 |
