| Description: | Water-clear colorless quartz crystal with unusual distorted form that a novice might mistake for a scalenohedral calcite. The quartz crystal has many parallel complex crystal faces that are attributed to etching, though actually caused during growth. Ex. Miller #M299; collected in 1988 |
