Mineral:Calcite with linear etched patterns
Locality:Lane's Quarry, Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts
Description:Lustrous transparent-to-translucent colorless calcite crystals with greenish basalt on the bottom. The calcite crystals are rhombohedral form and have surface striations, possible due to natural etching by cavity solutions. Ex. Miller #M3585, collected by Eric Greene
