Locality:Morogoro Region, Tanzania
Description:Large partial crystal of lustrous transparent vivid-pink ruby, the pink gem variety of the mineral corundum, with no matrix. The rear has irregular surfaces that may be cleavage faces. Excellent color and areas of clarity. Fluoresces red under LW UV illumination. Weight: 8.60 carats
