Description: | Superb cluster of lustrous translucent yellow calcite crystals in hemispherical aggregates to 9 mm diameter over bladed transparent colorless colemanite crystals to 12 mm. The calcite fluoresces under LW-SW ultraviolet illumination and phosphoresces. Ex. Miller #M1377; originally acquired from Chris Wright (1946-2014); collected in 1976 by Jim Minette (1936-2002) |
