Description: | Brilliantly lustrous black gaudefroyite crystals to 5 mm with overgrowth of lustrous transparent colorless calcite crystals to 19 mm on dark-gray matrix. The calcite crystals are hexagonal prisms with scalenohedral terminations. Ex. Miller #M3895; ex. Betts #72111; collected ca. 1980 |
