Description: | Lustrous transparent colorless (pale yellow-gray) calcite crystals to 2.5 mm on stalactitic gray cores to 30 mm long. The cores are probably acicular crystals of unidentified mineral, possibly ulexite. The calcite fluoresces under LW-SW UV illumination. Ex. Miller #M671; collected ca. 1976 |
