Mineral:Barite on Fluorite
Locality:Caravia-Berbes District, Asturias, Spain
Description:Lustrous platy translucent white barite crystals to 12 mm on lustrous transparent greenish cubic fluorite crystals to 1 mm, with a few small dark scattered microcrystals, probably pyrite. The fluorite fluoresces violet under LW UV illumination. Ex. Miller #M1783; collected ca 1955
