|railroad cut on eastern shore of Hudson River, between Schodack Landing and Poolsburg, Columbia County, New York
|Double-sided cluster of lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals on a core of translucent quartz with brown limonite stains. I collected at this site, and can testify that this is a good specimen for the locality, where trains pass 3 meters away. Repaired. Ex. Miller #M3901; ex. E. Greene private collection #QRZ-378; collected November 1998
