Description: | Lustrous brown-black trapezohedral almandine garnet crystals scattered over one face of white albite. The almandine crystals are spaced our and display nicely on the contrasting light-colored albite. A must-have classic New England specimen. From my personal collection #52086; ex. George English (1864-1944) ca. 1880 |
