Locality:Chimney Rock Quarry, Bound Brook, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous gray-metallic chalcocite crystals on one face of greenish matrix. The chalcocite crystallized in a narrow fracture, that restricted growth, that was filled with calcite. The calcite was dissolved to expose the chalcocite crystals. Ex. Rock Currier (1940-2015) Collection #2370; originally acquired in 1975 from Dick Hauck
