Locality:Yaogangxian Mine, 32 km southeast of Chenzhou, Hunan, China
Description:Lustrous transparent purple cubic fluorite crystals to 9 mm on yellowish quartz crystals to 2 mm plus minor yellow-metallic pyrite in the matrix. Note the healed post-crystallization fracture in the lower third, with fluorite crystals inside the fracture The fluorite fluoresces violet under LW UV illumination
