Locality:Erie Railroad Cut (1909), Bergen Hill, Hudson County, New Jersey
Description:Large plate of translucent beige-colored calcite crystals to 16 mm completely covering one face of greenish diabase. The calcite crystals rhombohedral form, with small yellow-metallic pyrite crystals to 1 mm selectively deposited on the edges. The calcite fluoresces under LW-SW ultraviolet illumination
