Locality:Thomaston Dam Railroad Cut, Thomaston, Litchfield County, Connecticut
Description:Lustrous translucent pale-yellow bladed stilbite crystals to 18 mm, in classic bow-tie-shaped groups, on lustrous translucent colorless quartz crystals to 8 mm over purple fluorite. The fluorite on the rear fluoresces violet under LW UV illumination. Ex. S. Kelland collection; ex. Ernie Schlichter (1929 -2007); acquired from Cardinal Minerals
