Mineral:Schizolite with minor Polylithionite
Locality:Poudrette Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Québec, Canada
Description:Thin lath-like translucent pink-orange schizolite crystals to 40 mm with lustrous polylithionite mica crystals to 1 mm on some surfaces. These bladed orange crystals were originally identified as serandite, but recent research shows they are schizolite. Ex. S. Kelland collection; collected by Ernie Schlichter (1929 -2007)
