Locality:Granatenkogel, Ötztal, Tyrol, Austria
Description:Two large dark red almandine garnet crystals in greenish schist. The almandine crystals translucent, dodecahedral crystal form and have textured surfaces resulting from growing in schist. This specimen probably originated at Granatenkogel Mountain
